Roberts is born while his mom Carol is attending the charter class of ORU. (Oral and Evelyn Roberts name him Roberts as the first male child born in the ORU charter class.)

1973

Carol graduates from ORU. Kathryn Kuhlman speaks at the graduation.

Summer 1974

8-year-old Roberts is taken to Heaven.

September 1974

Roberts attends Kathryn Kuhlman's Tulsa meeting at the Mabee Center with his family. The family briefly meets Kathryn. He sees many outstanding miracles and first encounters the tangible anointing of God.

Summer 1978

Jesus appears to 12½-year-old Roberts as he is watching TV in his living room and tells him to study the lives of God’s generals, both their successes and failures, in order to share with a coming generation that will need to know.

1978

12 1/2-year-old Roberts preaches his first sermon.

1983

Roberts publishes his first book, I Saw Heaven.

1983

Teacher, Victory Bible Institute (God's Generals)

1984

First mission trip to Africa.

1984

Roberts graduates from Victory Christian School.

1989

Awarded the Outstanding Young Man of America Award.

1992

Spirit Life Bible College established

1993

Embassy Christian Center birthed

1993

Life Ministerial Association launched.

1996

First “God’s Generals” book released.

1998

Spirit Life Bible College launches Operation 500 — sending 500 graduates overseas to minister and paying their expenses for a year.

2009

Roberts accepts the position of principal of the International Bible Institute of London, the training arm of the Kensington London City Church. He holds the position for 5 years while Carol and Priscilla continue to run the ministry headquarters in Sarasota.

2011

Honorary doctorate in Literature awarded by The Wesley Synod of Canterbury, England.

2014

Roberts receives a word from the Lord: “America is a mission field. Return and treat her like one.” Roberts returns to America to focus on his itinerant ministry across the nation and around the world and to author
more books, especially focusing on the expansion of the “God’s Generals” book series.

2022 and going forward...

We recognize that the day has come for the word that the Lord gave Roberts when he was 12½ years old to be fulfilled: “Study the lives of My generals. Know why they succeeded and why some failed – for there will come a generation who will need to know what I will show you if you will be faithful to do what I tell you to do today…”

‍We are in that time now. The generation Jesus spoke of is here. In this critical hour, we at RLM are called to take the message of God’s Generals to the world and to help raise up a new generation of bold revivalists who will succeed in invading the nations with the message of the Gospel and the spirit of reform!

STRENGTHEN

Strengthen the believer to live in victory. One of our assignments from the Holy Spirit is to powerfully encourage people to live the life of victory God created them to live. That familiar statement still holds true: “God said it; that settles it; and I believe it!” Our goal is to raise up believers to follow the call of God on their lives so they can be fulfilled and successful in accomplishing what He has asked them to do.

TRAIN

Train a new generation of leaders that will bring revival and reformation to the Church and to society. Our transformational leadership raises up others to bring the Kingdom message to a new generation. The old ways of evangelism don't always work. We train our friends and partners to be on the very “cutting edge” of what God is doing so the world can recognize His hand at work through His Body here on the earth.

ACCOMPLISH

Help accomplish the Great Commission, revealed in Matthew 28:19-20 and Mark 16:15. It is this Great Commission of Christ that motivates Roberts Liardon Ministries to reach the world with the full Gospel message of love and redemption.
